About Me

I am an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) at City University of London. My research interests include Strategic management of human capital, Employee mobility, and Entrepreneurship. In particular, in my first research stream, I examine the drivers and consequences of employee inter-firm mobility and employee entrepreneurship in high-technology contexts. As part of my second research stream, I explore how pre-entry experience of entrepreneurial ventures in industry, academic, or user settings impacts their entry behaviour, post-entry strategies, and long-term performance. My research has been published in Journal of Business Venturing and Industrial and Corporate Change.

Prior to joining Bayes, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aalto University in Finland and Bocconi University in Italy. I hold a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Bologna and an M.Sc. in Economics and Management from USI (Lugano).
