I am an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), City University of London. My research program centers on understanding the diverse career trajectories that individuals take prior to transitioning into entrepreneurship. I am particularly interested in how individuals’ prior professional experiences drive entrepreneurial entry and shape the strategic choices and performance outcomes of the startups they establish. My research has been published in Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, and Research Policy.

Prior to joining Bayes, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aalto and Bocconi University. I hold a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Bologna and an M.Sc. in Economics and Management from USI (Lugano).
